Qigong is a thousand year old practice from China. Even today, Qigong is used in Chinese hospitals to promote and maintain healing practices. The literal translation of Qigong means “building up” or strengthening your Qi. Qi (pronounced “chee”) is most often interpreted as your life force or life energy.

Your class with Halima consists of an 8-stgep protocol that will last just over an hour. During the class you will enjoy rhythmic breathing along with coordinated movements. As the class progresses, you will experience the movements and breathing as a sort of moving meditation.

Qi Gong classes are on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:45 pm; and Wednesdays from 8:00 to 9:15 am.
